1. Acceptance

By using Tamery you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use the service.

2. What Tamery Is

Tamery is a database management tool that provides:

  • Database connection and management
  • AI-powered SQL generation and assistance
  • Optional encrypted sync of connection information across devices
  • User accounts and team collaboration

3. Accounts

  • You must be 13+ (18+ or parental consent in some jurisdictions)
  • Provide accurate registration information
  • Keep your credentials confidential
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized account use
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account

4. Acceptable Use

Permitted:

  • Managing databases you are authorized to access
  • Using AI features for SQL generation and database assistance
  • Sharing connections with authorized team members

Prohibited:

  • Illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Attempting to access other accounts or systems without authorization
  • Interfering with or disrupting the service
  • Reverse engineering or decompiling the service
  • Transmitting malicious code

5. Your Databases and Data

What We Do

  • Provide tools to connect to and query your databases
  • Encrypt and optionally sync connection details when you enable cloud sync
  • Never store the contents of your databases — rows, query results, and table data never pass through our servers
  • Never access or modify your database data without your explicit action

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure you have legal authorization to access the databases you connect
  • Maintain your own backups of your databases and their data
  • Comply with your database provider's terms of service

Data Loss and Leaks

We are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access or leak of data — whether occurring on your side, your database provider's side, or ours. We implement reasonable security measures, but no system is fully secure. You use Tamery at your own risk.

6. AI Features

  • AI generates SQL and provides database assistance — treat output as a suggestion, not authoritative advice
  • Review and validate all AI-generated SQL before executing it
  • We are not responsible for issues caused by AI-generated code
  • Your database schema is sent to AI providers (via OpenRouter to Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) to generate accurate results — see our Privacy Policy for details
  • AI may occasionally query a small number of rows from your database as part of an explicit AI action
  • We reserve the right to modify or limit AI features

7. Privacy

We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • We do not sell your personal information
  • We share data with service providers only as needed to operate the service
  • We may disclose information if required by law

8. Subscriptions and Payment

  • Core features available free with usage limits
  • Premium features require a paid subscription, billed in advance via Stripe
  • Cancel at any time — no refunds for partial billing periods
  • Payments governed by Stripe's terms

9. Service Availability

  • We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice
  • We are not liable for damages caused by service interruptions

10. Intellectual Property

  • Service and content owned by Wannabe Space, LLC
  • You retain ownership of your data and database connections
  • You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service

11. Disclaimers

  • Service provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content

12. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the prior 12 months
  • We are not liable for damages caused by third-party services

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Wannabe Space, LLC from claims arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your database management activities.

14. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time
  • We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • Termination results in deletion of your data (some data may be retained for legal obligations)

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Tamery's operating jurisdiction. We encourage direct communication to resolve disputes before pursuing legal action. Class action lawsuits are not permitted.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes.
